Great to meet you!

I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in practice since 2014. My specialty areas include ADHD, MDD, Bipolar Disorder, OCD, GAD, Panic Disorder, ASD and Tourette's Disorder. I am comfortable working with pregnancy and post-partum, T1D, chronic physical illnesses, and deprescribing including hyperbolic tapering. I work with children, adolescents, and adults ages 6 to 65.

I have a master's in nursing from Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions in Boston and am licensed to practice in Massachusetts. My experience includes private practice, community mental health, therapeutic schools, and residential treatment settings. I currently serve as the consulting psychiatric nurse practitioner at the South Shore Educational Collaborative in Hingham, MA. I enjoy precepting Nurse Practitioner students.

My approach to therapy

I integrate principles of motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) into my psychopharmacological treatment sessions. I strive to embrace the full individuality of each patient, applying medical knowledge within the context of their unique personality, strengths, barriers, and stage of life. I am a dedicated evidence-based practitioner and remain up to date on advances in psychopharmacology and therapy by attending conferences and trainings regularly and reviewing the latest research.

What you can expect from me

At first we will meet for 60 min sessions every 1-4 weeks. During our first few sessions we will be talking about symptoms, history, diagnoses and treatment options. We will work together to make a treatment plan that may include further testing, medications and referral to therapy. We will then start meeting for shorter sessions to check in on how you are feeling and adjust medications if needed. Once you have been feeling better consistently, we will meet at least once every three months to maintain your treatment.
