Great to meet you!

After 47 years of sitting with people in some of their hardest moments, I've learned that complexity doesn't scare me. It's where I do my best work. I work with children, teenagers, adults, and older adults, and I've built my practice around welcoming people from all kinds of backgrounds including different races, religions, cultures, and identities, including LGBTQ+ individuals and couples. If you've ever felt like your problems were "too much," or quietly wondered whether anyone could really hold what you're carrying, that's exactly who I'm here for.

My approach to therapy

My approach is flexible because you're not a diagnosis. I draw from psychodynamic therapy to help you understand the patterns underneath your struggles, not just manage them. When you need something more immediate, I shift to solution-focused work: practical tools you can actually use in real life, right now. A humanistic thread runs through everything I do, which means I trust you as the expert on your own life and follow your lead. If you're a parent working through something with your child, I'll bring you into the process because healing rarely happens in isolation.

What you can expect from me

You don't need to arrive with a polished story or know exactly what's wrong, most people don't. In our first session, I'll ask questions and genuinely listen, not to categorize you but to understand you. There's no pressure to cover everything at once, and no agenda you didn't set. What I hope you walk away feeling is that this is a place where honesty is safe. I offer weekend appointments for anyone whose week is already full. If you've been putting it off, let this be the moment you stop waiting.
