Great to meet you!

As a Doctorally prepared Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner, I bring both advanced clinical training and years of nursing experience into every patient relationship. My background has shaped a practice style rooted in empathy, gentleness, and deep respect for each individual’s lived experience.

I specialize in supporting adults experiencing depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and other mood-related challenges. I understand that seeking care can feel vulnerable, and my goal is to create a space where you feel safe, heard, and genuinely understood. I approach treatment collaboratively - combining thoughtful medication management with compassionate, patient-centered care tailored to your unique needs.

Whether you are navigating a new diagnosis, managing ongoing symptoms, or simply feeling overwhelmed, you do not have to do it alone. Together, we will work toward clarity, stability, and a greater sense of well-being.

I look forward to supporting you on your healing journey.

My approach to therapy

I believe true healing happens when we treat the whole person - not just a diagnosis or a list of symptoms. Emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being are deeply interconnected, and lasting progress comes from addressing each of these dimensions together.

My approach is integrative and person-centered. I look beyond surface symptoms to understand the full context of your life - your stressors, relationships, health history, lifestyle, beliefs, and strengths. I combine evidence-based medication management with thoughtful dialogue, education, and practical strategies that support balance and resilience.

Care with me is collaborative. You are not a passive recipient of treatment; you are an active partner in your healing. I take time to listen carefully, answer questions thoroughly, and ensure you feel informed and empowered in every decision we make together.

I strive to create a warm, gentle, and nonjudgmental space where you feel safe exploring what’s weighing on you. Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, mood changes, or life transitions, my goal is to help you move toward stability, clarity, and a more grounded, fulfilling life.

Healing is not one-size-fits-all - and neither is my care.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is about being heard - fully and without judgment. I create a calm, welcoming space where you can speak openly about what brings you in, at your own pace. You will not be rushed, dismissed, or reduced to a diagnosis.

During this visit, we will take time to understand your story - your symptoms, stressors, medical history, lifestyle, strengths, and goals. I ask thoughtful questions not only to assess your needs clinically, but to understand you as a whole person.

You can expect empathetic, attentive care both during and after your sessions. I value clear communication and responsiveness, and I strive to ensure you feel supported throughout your treatment journey.

If appropriate, we will discuss evidence-based treatment options, which may include medication, lifestyle strategies, therapy recommendations, or coordination with other healthcare professionals. I believe collaboration leads to stronger outcomes, and when needed, I work closely with therapists, primary care providers, and other specialists to ensure your care is comprehensive and well-coordinated.

By the end of our first session, you can expect clarity - a better understanding of what may be contributing to your concerns and a thoughtful plan for next steps.

My goal is simple: for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and hopeful.
