Great to meet you!

I have a great passion for people and motivating them to live to their fullest potential. I acquired a BFA in photography and worked for years as a photographer and multimedia artist. During my undergraduate studies, I took several psychology classes to better understand what motivates people toward change and success. Once I raised my family, I returned to school to acquire a master’s in clinical counseling, focusing on addiction disorders. My first career as a therapist was running a mental health program in a correctional setting for nearly seven years where I found my passion for helping people work through trauma. I then studied trauma counseling, receiving a postmasters of science in trauma-informed care. I am grateful to teach coping skills that help people on their healing journeys. You owe yourself the time and work it takes to heal. Let's work together so you can learn the skills you need to live a better life.

My approach to therapy

I help people work through unresolved issues and work toward reaching their goals using an integrative and holistic approach. I work to create a safe space in which acceptance, compassion, and empowerment are key to facilitate growth and healing. My approach is based on evidenced-based cognitive-behavioral therapy, humanistic, and mindfulness therapy.

What you can expect from me

We will work together to develop a strategy that works for you. You can learn and develop new ways to engage and connect with your environment. This is one of the bravest and courageous things you will ever do for yourself. Simply being here, YOU have already started this journey of transformation. Be the reason you're happy.
