Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed clinical therapist in Texas with a master’s degree in Direct Practice Social Work, earned in 2016; proudly a first-generation college graduate! I believe everyone's background, values and traditions shape how they understand healing, connection, and resilience. I have always been one to honor and respect the diverse cultural identities, traditions, and lived experiences in others and within myself. Throughout the years, I've been attuned to how therapeutic experiences can show up in different ways when one is open in empathy, self-awareness and commitment to make positive changes.

My practice is rooted in trauma-informed, holistic therapy—supporting the mind, body, and spirit as interconnected pathways to healing. I believe therapy is a deeply personal journey that unfolds through curiosity, compassion, and self-awareness. Through an integrative lens in our sessions, my goal is to help you feel grounded, empowered, and supported —co-creating a safe, calming space where you can tune into yourself, process what’s been heavy, rediscover your strengths and find lasting healing on every level.

I hold certifications in:

  • Critical Incident Stress Management (CCISM)
  • Trauma-Conscious Yoga Method (TCYM)
  • Callahan Techniques, Thought Field Therapy (TFT-Alg)
  • Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP)

My training includes:

  • Somatic Therapy
  • Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)
  • Solution-Focused Therapy
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills & mindfulness
  • Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)
  • Perinatal Mental Health

My approach to therapy

My style is down-to-earth and eclectic, blending modern therapy methods with mindfulness, somatic techniques, and ancestral-informed wisdom to help you reconnect with your inner strength and restore balance.

I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach, nor do subscribe to limiting traditional Western models of therapy—our work together is about finding what truly resonates with YOU. Your unique background, experiences and roots guide the way we approach therapy together, making space for your whole self to be seen authentically and supported, so you can reconnect with your inner strength, release old patterns that no longer serve your higher self, and restore balance in your life.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a welcoming and collaborative space where we begin understanding your unique story and what brings you to therapy.

We’ll begin talking about your background, what’s going on in your life right now, and what you’re hoping to gain from our work together.

Because I work from a trauma-informed, holistic, and mind‐body-spirit approach, we’ll move at a pace that feels steady and grounding for you. You can expect me to ask thoughtful questions to get a sense of how current stress and past experiences might be showing up, not just in your mind, but also in your body and overall energy—never to judge, but to help create a full picture of your experiences.

We’ll also talk what therapy looks like with me, confidentiality, and ways we can tailor sessions to fit your needs. My intention for that first meeting is for you to leave with a sense of comfort, clarity, and connection, knowing that this is a place where your whole self—mind, body, and spirit—is welcome.
