Great to meet you!

I am a Bilingual (Spanish) licensed mental health therapist, and a credentialed substance abuse counselor. I have worked in multiple treatment environments such as detox, inpatient/outpatient substance abuse programs, and psychiatric hospitals. My 15 years of experience has allowed me to work with individuals of different ethnic backgrounds, genders, and people of all ages. I am trained to work with individuals with depression, borderline personality disorder, anxiety, and substance use.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I utilize techniques ranging from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), Talk Therapy, Dialectical behavioral therapy skills (DBT), Mindfulness and Motivational Interviewing.

What you can expect from our first session

As an experienced therapist, I teach clients how to use their own strengths to solve their problems. We work together to relieve symptoms, improve coping skills, and build the confidence needed to take charge of their life, health, and emotions. I am fluent in Spanish, therefore, conduct therapy sessions in Spanish if clients desire to express themselves in their native language.
