Great to meet you!

Annie Altenor is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-QS) and founder of AA Grace Counseling Services, LLC. With over 7 years of experience, I have had the privilege of working with individuals and families, helping them navigate life’s complexities. My expertise spans various settings, including end-of-life care, medical and mental health, and working with veterans. I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, life stressors, Veterans and Multiple Sclerosis (MS).

My approach to therapy

In our sessions, I take a solution-focused, person-centered approach, drawing from evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and psychodynamic therapy. Also, utilizing biblical scripture for those clients that are interested incorporating it into their sessions. Therapy will be a place to allow you grace to love and accept yourself on this journey.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, I strive to create a welcoming environment where we can get to know each other. My goal is to make sure you are comfortable in this space and help you be mindful of the journey you are about to start. We will then explore what brought you to therapy and start to discuss a plan for your journey. Therapy is a partnership, a safe, judgement free space that supports your growth, improves your well-being and fosters grace. Therapy sessions will be 60 minutes.
