Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Annie, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who specializes in working with women and girls navigating anxiety and attachment challenges.

If you find yourself overthinking, feeling “too much,” struggling in relationships, or constantly worrying about how others feel about you—you’re not alone. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling stuck in patterns of people-pleasing, anxious attachment, or fear of being abandoned or misunderstood.

My approach is warm, supportive, and collaborative. I help you understand the “why” behind your thoughts, emotions, and relationship patterns, while also giving you practical tools to manage anxiety, set boundaries, and feel more secure in yourself and your relationships.

Therapy with me is a space where you don’t have to shrink yourself or have it all figured out. Together, we’ll work toward helping you feel more grounded, confident, and connected.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is grounded in attachment theory and nervous system awareness. I believe that many of our relationship patterns — especially anxious attachment — are not flaws, but protective strategies our minds and bodies developed over time. Rather than judging or trying to “fix” these patterns, we work to understand them with compassion and clarity.

In our sessions, we’ll explore how early experiences and past relationships shaped the way you respond to closeness, distance, and uncertainty. I integrate attachment-focused therapy with nervous system regulation and parts work to help you feel more grounded during moments that typically trigger overthinking or fear of abandonment.

Therapy with me is warm, collaborative, and honest. I balance insight with practical tools, so you leave sessions not only understanding your patterns but also feeling more equipped to manage them in real time. My goal is to help you build secure, steady relationships without losing your independence, ambition, or sense of self.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know you and what’s been bringing you to therapy. You don’t need to prepare anything—I’ll guide the conversation and meet you where you are.

We’ll explore what you’ve been experiencing, including any anxiety or relationship patterns, and talk about what you’re hoping to get out of therapy. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, supported, and not judged as we begin working together.
