Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 17 years of experience in community clinics. I have been trained in several evidence-based treatments in order to address a variety of issues. I believe that past events/traumas are an important area of focus and try to incorporate this into understanding current functioning. My approach is to learn about you and your experiences so we can create a plan to meet your goals.

My approach to therapy

I like to begin by letting you tell your story of who you are and where you want to go. I will listen and ask questions that will be helpful to fully understanding you. We will then discuss some plans for the focus of treatment together.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can be hard so I try to be supportive by teaching skills, developing insight into how and why we do things, etc. I like to have clients practice interventions between sessions so we can discuss what works and what doesn't work.
