Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Florida and the founder and CEO of Healing Faith Counseling Center, LLC—a private practice committed to providing culturally responsive and faith-integrated therapeutic services to the community. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Florida International University and a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University. I am currently a doctoral candidate, working on my thesis in the same field.

For the past 4 years, I have had the privilege of working with individuals, children, couples, families, and groups. My clinical experience includes supporting clients through challenges related to mental health, substance abuse, relationships, marital and family dynamics. My therapeutic approach is rooted in solution-focused theory, and I incorporate narrative and collaborative techniques to ensure each client receives personalized, empowering care. I also offer faith-based therapy upon request, integrating spiritual support with evidence-based practices.

I am fluent in both English and Haitian Creole, which allows me to serve a diverse range of clients and eliminate language barriers in therapy. In addition to providing therapy, I offer workshops, trainings, and speak on topics related to mental, spiritual, and physical health. I am a passionate advocate for self-care and personal growth, and I strive to help others reach their full potential.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and culturally sensitive. I believe that each client is the expert of their own life, and I work alongside them to help uncover strengths, develop insight, and find practical solutions. I integrate Solution-Focused Therapy with Narrative and Collaborative approaches, helping clients reframe their experiences and move forward with clarity and purpose. I am also trained and familiar with many other theories and modalities such as MIT, CBT, Bowen, MRI, Gottman etc...

I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered. Whether I’m working with individuals, couples, families, or groups, I take into account each person’s background, values, and unique needs. I also offer faith-based counseling upon request, for clients who desire a spiritual component in their healing journey.

What you can expect from me

My goal is to help clients feel more connected to themselves, their relationships, and their purpose while equipping them with the tools they need to thrive long after therapy ends.

Clients can expect to leave sessions feeling heard, supported, and empowered. I aim to create a safe, welcoming, and culturally responsive space where individuals, couples, and families feel comfortable being themselves without fear of judgment. Whether we're addressing emotional challenges, relationship dynamics, or personal growth, every session is rooted in respect, compassion, and collaboration.

My goal is to help clients gain:

  • Clarity about their thoughts, emotions, and patterns
  • Practical tools to manage stress, communicate effectively, and navigate conflict
  • Stronger relationships through improved understanding and connection
  • Increased self-awareness and confidence in decision-making
  • Hope and resilience as they move toward healing and positive change

Each client’s journey is unique, so I work with them to set meaningful, realistic goals that align with their values and vision for their lives. Sessions are interactive and reflective, often blending insight-building with solution-focused strategies that clients can apply right away.
