Great to meet you!

Annie radiates hope and strives to support your path of healing in a way that feels comfortable for you. As a “lifer in therapy,” she hopes to convey the message that you are not alone in whatever struggle you are facing. Over the past 10 years, Annie has worked with men, women, couples, and families to overcome shame, guilt, and destructive patterns that keep people stuck. She has a specialty in addiction and vast experience with grief, anxiety, depression, anger, and trauma issues.

My approach to therapy

Annie has a strong psychodynamic and attachment-based approach to therapy. She also uses parts work, CBT & mindfulness approaches to improve daily wellbeing. She has a background as an integral yoga instructor for 15 years+ and is happy to work with movement in therapy if desired. She was also recently trained in EMDR and looks forward to offering these services in practice. (Rutgers Graduate 2015)
