Hi, my name is Annie. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and have a Masters in Social Work with a focus in mental health. My background includes work in community mental health, in-patient psychiatry, domestic violence programs, and outpatient mental health practices. As a younger clinician, I can offer a combination of clinical knowledge and experience while also providing understanding and relatability.
I would describe my style as warm, approachable and relaxed in order to make my clients feel safe and heard in a non-judgmental setting. I have a special interest in working with adolescents and young adults navigating life transitions, anxiety, and self-esteem but also enjoy providing services across the lifespan. I am also a certified sport social worker and enjoy helping athletes navigate mental health challenges unique to their sports environment.
My goal is to help my clients achieve their fullest potential using a flexible and holistic approach to mental health treatment. I consider my clients the experts in their own lives and tailor my approach to their specific needs. In our first session, my clients have the opportunity to discuss the challenges they are facing and what type of support they need in order to live their most meaningful and fulfilling life.
