Great to meet you!

Hello, my name is Annissa Rosser, PMHNP-BC, and I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care through personalized medication management. I specialize in working with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults, helping each individual navigate their unique mental health journey with dignity and support.

I hold a Master of Science in Nursing degree from Wayne State University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mercer University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Michigan- Ann Arbor. My clinical career has spanned diverse settings including outpatient care, partial hospitalization programs, inpatient treatment, and acute medical environments. Most recently, I have served as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, where I provide psychiatric evaluations, mental status examinations, and tailored medication management for patients of all ages.

My approach integrates both clinical expertise and a genuine commitment to treating the whole person. With experience in crisis intervention, complex case management, and collaborative care, I understand that mental health treatment is not one-size-fits-all. I work closely with patients and their families to ensure that treatment is not only effective but also empowering.

Whether supporting a child struggling with focus and behavior, a teenager navigating anxiety or depression, or an adult managing long-term mental health needs, my goal is to provide thoughtful, individualized care that promotes healing, balance, and long-term well-being.

If you or a loved one are seeking a supportive and attentive partner in your mental health care, I would be honored to work with you.

My approach to therapy

My approach to working with clients is thoughtful, caring, and collaborative. I take the time to truly listen so that each person feels understood and supported. I focus on medication management and provide care for children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, ADHD and mood disorders.

I believe in creating a safe and respectful environment where clients feel comfortable discussing their concerns and working with me to find the right treatment plan. My goal is to partner with each client to promote healing, balance, and long-term well-being.

What you can expect from me

I know how important it is to feel heard and supported when you’re seeking help. My style is thoughtful, caring, and focused on really listening to what you’re going through. I work with children, teens, adults, and older adults, providing medication management for concerns like anxiety, depression, ADHD and mood disorders (children).

I aim to create a safe, judgment-free space where you can feel comfortable being yourself. Together, we’ll set goals that focus on finding relief from symptoms, building stability, and helping you feel more balanced and confident in your daily life. My goal is not just to manage symptoms, but to support your overall well-being so you can move forward with hope.
