Hello, my name is Annjane Ross, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with many years of experience supporting individuals and families through life's challenges. My approach to therapy is warm, open-minded, and compassionate. I strive to create a safe and supportive space where clients feel heard, respected, and understood.
I have extensive experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families, utilizing a trauma-informed approach in my practice. I recognize that many individuals have faced difficult life events, and I work collaboratively with clients to help them process these experiences, build resilience, and develop healthy coping strategies.
I incorporate evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. My goal is to empower clients with practical tools that support healing, emotional well-being, and personal growth.
I believe that therapy is a partnership, and I work alongside my clients to help them move toward greater balance, confidence, and well-being.
During the first session, clients can expect a welcoming, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where they can comfortably share their experiences and concerns. This initial meeting is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a trusting therapeutic relationship.
We will spend time discussing what has brought you to therapy, any challenges you may currently be facing, and the goals you hope to achieve. I will ask questions to better understand your background, current stressors, strengths, and support systems. This approach helps me gain a holistic understanding of your situation, allowing us to develop a plan that best supports your needs.
