Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 35 years of experience helping adults, teens, and families navigate some of life's most difficult moments — including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and major life transitions. My background spans a wide range of settings and presenting concerns, and over the years I've also worked as a licensed clinical supervisor, mentoring newer clinicians as they build their own practices. I practice virtually, so you can access care from wherever you're most comfortable. Whether you've been in therapy before or are just starting out, you'll find my approach warm, direct, and focused on what actually helps you move forward.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate, practical, and collaborative — I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all model, and I bring decades of experience adapting to what each person actually needs. We'll work together to understand what's driving what you're feeling and identify strategies that bring real, lasting relief rather than just short-term coping. I tend to be direct and affirming: I'll be honest with you about what I'm observing, and I'll be genuinely in your corner every step of the way. My goal is for therapy to feel productive and grounded — something that fits into your real life.

What you can expect from me

In our first session expect a safe, welcoming environment to share what brings you in. I'll ask about what's been going on and what you're hoping to get out of working together — there's no pressure to have it all figured out before we meet. By the end, we'll have a clearer picture of what we're working toward and a starting point for how to get there. I want you to leave that first conversation feeling heard, and a little more hopeful than when you arrived.
