Great to meet you!

Hello and welcome! As a licensed mental health counselor in a public high school for over 25 years, I support adolescents and their families through many of life’s most challenging and overwhelming experiences. My education at Villanova University and Boston College laid the foundation for my work, and the relationships I have built over the years truly shaped the counselor I am today. My approach is warm, open-minded, and collaborative. I value building trusting relationships, and strive to create a space where clients feel heard, respected, and safe. Whether navigating anxiety, depression, stress, family conflict, self-esteem, athletic performance pressure, or big life transitions, my goal is to empower clients to see their own strengths and potential to grow.

My approach to therapy

My holistic approach to therapy involves exploring the connection between mental, physical and social well being. I help clients build essential life skills like self-awareness and resilience while guiding them to new insights and growth. I specialize in working with adolescents as they navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, athletic performance pressure and big life transitions. I believe that collaborating with families is essential to improve communication and strengthen relationships by working through conflicts in a healthy and productive way.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a warm welcome in our first session where I like to ask about your story and what you are looking to achieve through counseling. I will provide a comfortable, safe space that allows you to open up while feeling secure. We will work together to create goals and develop a plan to achieve them.
