Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Anny! I'm a bilingual (English/Spanish) Dominican-American Licensed Clinical Social Worker with three years of experience providing therapeutic care. I'm passionate about helping people navigate life's challenges while feeling a little less alone in the process.

I work with adults from a variety of backgrounds who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, burnout, relationship or family challenges, and major life transitions.

As a Latina therapist, I also understand how culture, family expectations, and the roles we grow up with can shape the way we see ourselves and navigate our relationships. My goal is to help you better understand what you're going through, build confidence, and move toward the version of yourself you want to become.

My approach to therapy

I like to use a warm and supportive approach in therapy. I understand that making the decision to seek therapy can be difficult, so my goal is to create an environment where you feel seen, heard, and comfortable being yourself. I believe in meeting clients where they are and providing a judgment-free space to work through life's challenges.

My approach is primarily centered around Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), strengths-based therapy, and trauma-informed care. I use these approaches based on your individual needs and what you are hoping to work on in therapy.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, you can expect us to spend some time getting to know each other. I want to understand how you view your current challenges, what brought you to therapy, and what goals you would like to work toward. From there, we can determine which treatment approach may work best for you. I understand that opening up to someone new can feel difficult, so there is no pressure to share everything at once. We can take things at your pace and start wherever you feel most comfortable.
