Great to meet you!

I'm Kina, an LCSW who's been in the field since 2020. I came to this work after navigating my own major life changes. I know firsthand how much the right support changes things.

You might be a new mom who hasn't felt like herself in months. Or someone managing anxiety while trying to hold everything together at home. Maybe you're in the middle of a life transition that's harder than you expected, or grief has settled in and won't quite lift. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, maternal mental health, family stress, relationship strain, and loss. My clients often come in feeling stuck, exhausted, or both. Together, we work to understand what's gotten in the way and build a real path forward.

My approach to therapy

My style is warm, direct, and practical. I use CBT to help you notice and shift the thought patterns driving your stress, and Solution-Focused approaches to keep us anchored in where you want to go, not just where you've been. We'll spend time on what's actually happening in your daily life — your relationships, your inner dialogue, your habits — so the work translates into real change beyond our sessions.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a conversation. I'll ask what brought you in, what's been hardest lately, and where you're hoping to go. You don't need to have it all figured out — you just have to show up. By the end, we'll have a clear sense of where to start and what working together can look like for you.
