Great to meet you!

As an EMDR-trained Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I help clients explore not only what they are experiencing, but the beliefs, emotions, protective responses, and relationship patterns underneath it. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe enough to be honest, supported enough to go deeper, and empowered to make meaningful changes. You may already understand where some of your patterns come from, but insight is not always the same thing as healing. You can know why you shut down, overthink, struggle with rejection, repeat certain relationship patterns, or have difficulty trusting and still find yourself responding in the same ways.

I work with adults and young adults who are ready to move beyond simply talking about what happened and begin understanding how past experiences continue to shape their emotions, relationships, and sense of self. I often support clients navigating depression, trauma, grief, relationship and attachment concerns, and major life transitions.

My approach to therapy

My style is warm, collaborative, and accountable. I’ll give you space to process, but I won’t leave you to figure everything out on your own. I ask thoughtful questions, help you recognize patterns, offer new perspectives, and gently challenge you when I notice something that may be keeping you stuck.

Therapy with me goes beyond asking, “How was your week?” We may explore how earlier experiences shaped the beliefs you hold about yourself, how you protect yourself when you feel hurt or rejected, and how those patterns show up in your relationships today.

I draw from EMDR, cognitive behavioral therapy, attachment-informed work, strengths-based approaches, and other trauma-informed interventions. Rather than forcing one approach to fit every person, we’ll identify what you need and build our work around your goals, readiness, and experiences.

What you can expect from me

Our first few sessions are about understanding the whole person, not just the problem that brought you to therapy. We’ll talk about what’s happening now while also exploring the relationships, experiences, family dynamics, and patterns that may help us understand how you got here.

From there, we’ll identify meaningful goals and begin connecting insight to action. Depending on what you need, our work may involve building coping skills, strengthening boundaries, processing difficult experiences, challenging long-held beliefs, or developing healthier ways of responding to yourself and others.

You can expect me to be engaged in the process with you. I value honesty, curiosity, humor when appropriate, and creating a relationship where you can feel supported while still being challenged to grow.
