I am a licensed therapist with over 9 years of experience. I am a husband, father, and an Army veteran. I use my background, experiences, education, and talents to work with teens and adults who are struggling to manage anxiety, stress, trauma, and changes in relationships. I am dedicated to supporting my clients with positive regard using CBT, Mindfulness, Solution Focused and other techniques. I help to engage the self-healing potential we all possess.
I lean towards a biopsychosocial–spiritual model and agree that therapists can incorporate a holistic and spiritual side to treatment sessions in coordination with the client. I also borrow parts of the Existential and Humanistic theories, such as the idea of self-congruence (who the client believes he/she is and who he/she should be).
I believe in the importance of addressing the whole person, the mind-body-spirit needs of every person. I promote healthy lifestyle choices, including boundaries and selfcare.
