A bit about my approach to therapy

He has completed Practicum Training Levels 1-3 in Gottman Methods Couples Therapy and the Gottman Couples and Addiction Recovery Method, He uses an eclectic approach to therapy that includes modalities such as Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Behavioral Activation Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and the Gottman Method.

What you can expect from our first session

During the first session, the focus is on developing a level of trust while providing support and empathy to encourage patients to feel safe expressing their symptoms. Patients can expect to walk away from the first session feeling empowered; feeling like they are in a collaborative relationship; and feeling like they will be treated with dignity and respect throughout the therapy process.
