Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Anthony. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado, and outside of session work I am employed in a correctional setting. I am a Christian and I believe that scripture is the best medicine. I know what it looks like when someone is struggling in the dark with more than they can bear and I want to be a steady and faithful light to help you find your way through.

My approach to therapy

My approach blends a few tools depending on what you need. Some sessions we slow down and look closely at the thoughts that keep replaying and putting the brakes on your week; other times, we will look at behavior that needs to be changed. Everything is based on a biblical worldview and practicable concepts. I also keep things practical, leaving each session with one or two concrete steps you can actually use. I work with adults facing anxiety, depression, grief, relationship strain, and substance use, and I bring a calm, direct style shaped by years of sitting with people in genuinely hard moments.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is mostly me listening: what's been going on, what you've already tried, and what you're hoping is different in a few months. From there we build a plan together, at your own pace. Sessions are entirely by video, so wherever you are in Colorado, you can meet with me from home.
