Great to meet you!

Anthony Brooks is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) with over a two decades of experience helping individuals navigate life's challenges and discover their inner resilience. His therapeutic approach is rooted in evidence-based practices, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and solution-focused techniques to support clients in achieving meaningful change.

Anthony specializes in working with adults and adolescents facing anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and relationship difficulties. His style is warm, collaborative, and goal-oriented—creating a safe space where clients feel heard, empowered, and supported in their journey toward healing and growth.

With a deep commitment to mental wellness, Anthony believes that therapy is a partnership, and every client deserves a tailored approach that honors their unique story and strengths. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply looking for personal growth, Anthony offers a compassionate and practical path forward.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is rooted in both Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and a client-centered philosophy. I believe that meaningful change happens when individuals feel heard, understood, and empowered, so I strive to create a therapeutic environment that is warm, nonjudgmental, and collaborative.

From a client-centered perspective, I view each person as the expert of their own life. I prioritize building a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust, empathy, and respect. I meet clients where they are, working at a pace that feels comfortable and supportive, and tailoring therapy to their unique goals and values.

Using CBT, I help clients explore the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we identify unhelpful patterns that may be contributing to distress and develop practical tools to challenge and reframe those thoughts. Whether we’re addressing anxiety, depression, stress, or life transitions, CBT provides a structured and effective framework for creating lasting change.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to leave sessions with a deeper understanding of themselves, greater clarity about their thoughts and emotions, and practical tools they can apply in everyday life. My goal is to create a space where clients feel safe, supported, and genuinely heard.

Through our work together, clients often develop increased self-awareness, improved coping strategies, and a stronger sense of confidence in navigating life’s challenges. Using a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and a client-centered approach, we’ll focus on identifying patterns that may be holding you back and work toward creating meaningful, sustainable change.

Each session is a step toward building resilience, restoring balance, and moving closer to the life you want to lead.
