Great to meet you!

I am a graduate of Divine Mercy University and a Licensed Professional Counselor in Virginia. I hold the belief that the counseling room is a sacred space in which God dwells and heals. I have been specially trained in an integrated model of contemporary psychology and Catholic/Christian anthropology and theology. I am also a Certified Facilitator/Instructor and Clinical Traumatologist with the Green Cross Academy of Traumatology, and have extensive deployment and field experience.

My approach to therapy

I believe in utilizing a holistic approach to treatment, addressing client’s welfare in body, mind, and soul by using a variety of techniques and modalities best suited for each client. I also specialize in the treatment of trauma and employ a number of techniques, including EMDR, to address it.

What you can expect from me

As wonderful and beautiful as life may be, sometimes our issues really can feel like they are too much for us to handle, and that’s ok! We need not be “strong enough,” “perfect,” or “have all the answers.” We need only to be willing to allow there to be a chance that things can be different or better.
