Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I am passionate about helping individuals and families find healing, balance, and resilience in their lives. Over the past several years, I’ve worked in both community and clinical settings, specializing in supporting adults, veterans, and families who are navigating challenges such as trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I believe that everyone has the capacity to grow, change, and thrive when given the right tools and support.

My approach is both compassionate and practical—I strive to meet clients where they are and walk alongside them in their therapeutic journey. I integrate evidence-based practices with a strengths-based perspective, helping clients build on their unique abilities while addressing barriers that may feel overwhelming.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should feel like a safe partnership. Together, we’ll create goals that reflect what matters most to you, whether that’s improving relationships, managing stress, or building healthier coping strategies. I draw on approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Strength-Based Therapy, and Solution-Focused techniques to provide care that is tailored to your needs. My role is to listen, encourage, challenge, and empower you while always respecting your pace and process.

What you can expect from me

Our first session together is really about getting to know you and understanding why you’ve chosen to begin therapy at this time. We’ll take things step by step, starting with an overview of your background, your current challenges, and what goals you would like to work toward.

I’ll ask questions to learn more about your story, your strengths, and what support systems you already have in place. This helps me understand not just “what’s going on,” but also “why now” and what’s most important to you in this season of your life.

This intake session is also your opportunity to ask questions, share any concerns about the therapy process, and let me know what you hope to get out of our work together. My goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where you feel comfortable opening up, while we begin shaping a plan that fits your needs.

By the end of our first session, you’ll leave with a clearer picture of how therapy can help you move forward and what our journey together might look like.
