Great to meet you!

I’m Anthony and I’m happy you’re looking at my bio! Taking the first step is hard, so I respect you for being here. I specialize in the realities many face - pressure to contribute, emotional isolation, screen addiction, silent grief, crisis of purpose and a lack of mentorship. Staying in these struggles weakens identity, partnership and family. I work with those navigating the stress of holding a family together while feeling stuck in their own habits; with couples trying to repair the damage; with those affected by their partner’s coldness and with young adults for whom just focusing attention feels like a chore. I relate to your struggle, having personally overcome trauma and discovered ways to make ADHD work for me. I stand with those facing instability or marginalization—LGBTQ+, people of color, women, and anyone whose rights feel threatened. Caring isn’t political; it’s human. Together, we’ll find a path that works!

My approach to therapy

My framework centers on four zones with equal importance: 1. Integrity 2. Discipline 3. Strategy, and 4. Connection and Joy. When one zone dominates the others, people suffer. For example, if its ‘your way or the highway’ (Discipline) but you’re selfish, we’ll work on making you a better contributor. If you’re in love with your own viewpoints (Strategy), we’ll work on negotiation skills. Learning to live through all four zones helped me restore balance and it can do the same for you. That doesn’t mean we will ever assume that your circumstances are solely your fault but they are your responsibility. Laughter is some of the best medicine and very necessary when voluntarily doing this character development — we’ll look at all the ‘icks’ but may also make time to laugh at a relatable meme that hits just right!

What you can expect from me

I don’t do ‘fifty questions.’ We’ll get to know one another over time, at the right pace, so we can both breathe easy! Sure, I’ll take a little of your history each meeting, but you can always expect to leave the session with a clear picture of what you’ve gained — an insight, something to reflect on, a new tool to try, or maybe even a ‘behavior experiment’ that could get you better results! You’re the expert on what being in your life is like. I bring training, experience, an open heart and a flashlight to help us find solutions together!
