Great to meet you!

Feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or like your relationship is falling apart? You don’t have to figure it out alone.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) with over 20 years of experience helping individuals and couples regain control of their lives, rebuild trust, and create lasting change.

I specialize in working with:

  • Individuals struggling with stress, anxiety, or substance use
  • Professionals navigating high-pressure environments or major life transitions
  • Couples who feel disconnected, stuck in conflict, or unsure how to move forward

My approach is direct, supportive, and results-focused. I don’t just listen—I help you develop real tools to improve communication, manage emotions, and break unhealthy patterns.

I also provide Department of Transportation (DOT) Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) evaluations for safety-sensitive employees, offering clear guidance and support through the return-to-duty process.

My goal is to help you move from feeling stuck and overwhelmed to confident, clear, and in control of your next steps. “If you’re ready to start making real changes, I’m here to help.”

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is practical, supportive, and focused on real change.

I help clients understand what’s driving their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors—and then we work together to build the skills needed to respond differently. This may include improving communication, managing stress and triggers, setting boundaries, and developing healthier patterns.

I use a strength-based, person-centered approach, meaning I meet you where you are while also challenging you to grow. Sessions are not just about talking—they are about learning tools you can apply in your daily life.

I take a whole-person approach, supporting emotional stability, relationships, and overall well-being so you can feel more grounded, clear, and in control.

My goal is to help you move from feeling stuck to making consistent, meaningful progress. “If you’re looking for a therapist who will not only listen but also help you take action, we may be a good fit.”

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel uncomfortable or uncertain—especially if you’re not sure what to expect. My goal is to make the first session feel relaxed, clear, and productive.

In our first session, we’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what’s been weighing on you, and what you want to change. I’ll ask focused questions to better understand your situation, but there’s no pressure to share everything at once—you can go at your own pace.

This session is not just about gathering information. We’ll begin identifying patterns, challenges, and strengths, and I’ll start helping you make sense of what’s going on.

By the end of the session, you can expect to:

  • Feel heard and understood
  • Have more clarity about your situation
  • Begin identifying practical next steps

My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, supported, and confident that change is possible. “You don’t have to have everything figured out before you start—that’s what we’ll work through together.”
