Great to meet you!

While my primary focus has been rehabilitation neuropsychology for the past decade, and 20+ years of experience in TBI rehabilitation, I have found it fulfilling to compliment my full-time position with a lighter outpatient/telepsychology part-time practice to more completely utilize my individual psychotherapy skills (with person-centered, insight-oriented, CBT, and Mindfulness-based practices most frequently employed). I was trained in CBT, FM/IFS, and psychodynamic conceptualizations/framework and integrative methods for treatment planning and guidance. While my concentration has been working with those in a medical/rehabilitation setting, I have enjoyed working with many successful clients via telepsychology focusing on adjustment and coping with life's common (and uncommon) challenges and stressors in more adaptive and effective ways.

My approach to therapy

Helping individuals identify their values; and align them with their goals and daily routines, has been the most common underlying aspect of my approach to psychotherapy. Identifying strengths as well as barriers that encumber one's quality of life. If working with me, you may look forward to a person-centered, individualized approach to work collaboratively to identify and meet your specific goals, needs, and interests in seeking telepsychology services.

What you can expect from me

I work collaboratively with individuals to identify short- and long-term goals that align with their values, explore adaptive and maladaptive coping strategies, and develop healthy behavioral wellness routines. I also help clients identify practical strategies to monitor progress, build accountability, and ensure their daily/weekly routines remain aligned with their values and goals.
