Great to meet you!

I believe therapy should be a collaborative, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable being yourself. My goal is to meet you where you are and work alongside you to better understand the challenges you’re experiencing, develop healthier coping skills, and create meaningful change.

I have experience working with adolescents, young adults, and adults facing a variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma/PTSD, grief, anger, life transitions, emotional regulation difficulties, family conflict, substance use, and other life challenges. Because every person’s needs are different, I tailor my approach rather than using a one-size-fits-all method.

My therapeutic style incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness, emotional regulation strategies, and other evidence-based approaches. Most importantly, I want you to feel heard, respected, and supported as we work together toward your goals.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, person-centered, and tailored to each client’s individual needs. I believe everyone’s experiences are unique, so I work with clients to identify their goals, understand the patterns that may be affecting their well-being, and develop practical skills that can support meaningful change.

I primarily incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, emotional regulation strategies, mindfulness practices, Solution-Focused Therapy, and strength-based approaches. I focus on helping clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while building healthier coping strategies and recognizing their existing strengths.

My goal is to create a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard and respected. Together, we work toward greater self-awareness, emotional well-being, resilience, and positive changes that can carry into everyday life.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my focus is on getting to know you and creating a comfortable, nonjudgmental space where you can begin sharing at your own pace. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, the challenges you’re currently experiencing, your background, and what you hope to gain from our work together.

We’ll also begin identifying your goals and discussing a treatment approach that fits your individual needs. I understand that starting therapy can sometimes feel unfamiliar or overwhelming, so there is no expectation to share everything right away. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and with a clearer sense of how we can work together moving forward.
