Great to meet you!

As a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), I provide compassionate, evidence-based care for individuals experiencing mental health concerns. My approach is collaborative and patient-centered—I believe treatment works best when we make decisions together based on your goals, values, and lived experiences.

I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive therapy, with a focus on creating a safe, respectful, and nonjudgmental space. My priority is to help you feel heard, understood, and empowered as we work toward improved emotional wellness and overall quality of life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative, respectful, and individualized. I take time to understand your unique experiences, symptoms, stressors, and goals before developing a treatment plan. I believe mental health care works best when it is a partnership—where you feel heard, informed, and actively involved in decisions about your treatment.

I use evidence-based practices, which may include medication management, supportive therapy, and lifestyle recommendations when appropriate. I focus on treating the whole person, not just symptoms, while creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can speak openly and feel supported throughout your care.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation designed to better understand you as a whole person—not just your symptoms. We will discuss your current concerns, psychiatric and medical history, medications, family history, lifestyle factors, and any prior treatment experiences.

This is also an opportunity for you to share your goals, ask questions, and discuss what you hope to gain from care. If appropriate, we will review potential treatment options, which may include therapy, medication management, or a combination of approaches.

Most importantly, the first session is about building comfort and trust. You can expect a respectful, nonjudgmental environment where you are heard and involved in every step of the process.
