Great to meet you!
I’m a counselor who understands real life, real pressure, and real responsibility. As a husband, father, minister, and multi-site counseling practice owner, I know what it’s like to be pulled in many directions while still trying to show up strong for the people who depend on you. Clients often tell me I’m easy to talk to, someone who can handle your honesty without judgment and still challenge you to grow.
I specialize in working with African-American men ages 18–40, millennial women of faith, student athletes, and Christian men navigating major life transitions. If you’re carrying stress at home, pressure at work, frustration from family patterns, or you’re simply tired of feeling stuck, I offer a space where you can breathe, unpack, and rebuild.
Professionally, I hold a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling and serve as the owner and lead counselor of Pursuing Joy PLLC. My career spans school-based counseling, private practice, community mental health, and pastoral care. I’ve helped hundreds of clients increase emotional regulation, rebuild confidence, strengthen relationships, and break long-standing cycles that were blocking their potential.
My counseling is grounded, relatable, culturally aware, and faith-integrated when you want it to be. I bring clinical skill, lived experience, and a calm presence that helps people feel safe enough to do real work.
