Great to meet you!

As a therapist and counselor educator with over a decade of experience, I believe prioritizing mental health is an important step toward creating a more meaningful and grounded life. Seeking help can be one of the hardest parts, so congratulations on taking that step. I have over a 14 years of experience conducting therapy in both private practice and community mental health settings. In addition to my clinical work, I also train the next generation of counselors in both graduate programs and occupational schools.

My approach to therapy

I approach therapy from a fundamentally existential lens, while also integrating Motivational Interviewing and Structural Family Therapy. I work with clients to explore how they understand themselves, their relationships, and the world around them, with special attention to questions of meaning, purpose, and identity. Together, we examine the beliefs, patterns, and experiences that shape how they move through life. I bring both clinical depth and thoughtful presence to the therapeutic process, creating space for insight, growth, and lasting change. I view therapy as a sacred and collaborative space, one that is grounded in respect, care, and reverence for each client’s story.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we will spend time exploring what brings you to therapy and what you hope to gain from the process. We will also discuss your current concerns, personal history, and the goals that feel most important to you. I will help clarify my role in the therapeutic relationship and answer any questions you may have about how I work. My goal is to create a space where you feel understood, supported, and informed from the very beginning. This initial session also helps us determine how we can work together in a way that feels meaningful and effective for you.
