Great to meet you!

Therapy, at its best, doesn't just help you feel better — it helps you understand yourself more honestly, challenge what you've been taught to believe, and find more freedom in how you live. That's the work I'm here for.

I'm Anthony, an LMHC trained at Columbia University, Teachers College, where I earned dual master's degrees in Psychological Counseling and Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in strengths-based, multicultural counseling. My approach is liberation-focused and relational — meaning I pay close attention to how systemic forces, relationships, and internalized narratives shape your sense of self and your well-being.

I specialize in working with LGBTQ+, BIPOC, neurodivergent, and creative adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, identity, grief, and shame.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative and active. Rather than simply listening or giving advice, I prefer to walk alongside folks as we explore their identity, understand the patterns shaping their lived experiences, and navigate life's challenges with greater clarity, self-trust, and freedom.

I specialize in supporting LGBTQ+, BIPOC, neurodivergent, and creative adults as they move through anxiety, depression, shame, complex trauma, and grief. My work draws from EFT, Psychodynamic therapy, Trauma-Focused CBT, MBCT, and Solution-Focused approaches — adapting to what you and your specific journey actually need.

What you can expect from me

I believe healing is both a personal and collective journey rooted in self-exploration, connection, and unlearning narratives that no longer serve us. As a Black queer therapist, I strive to create a warm, culturally-affirming space where individuals can show up fully as themselves, without having to shrink or hide who they are.

Our time together should offer you the opportunity to slow down, breathe, reflect, and exist freely.

If you're looking for a therapist who will not only sit with you, but also actively work with you to figure life out, then you're in the right place.
