Great to meet you!

If you or your family are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward, you’re not alone. I work with adolescents, men, and families who are navigating emotional stress, behavioral challenges, relationship dynamics, and major life transitions. Whether you're a parent trying to support your child, a teen facing pressure at school or socially, or someone looking for more direction and stability in your own life, this is a space where we can slow things down and work through it together.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in adolescent development, family dynamics, and community mental health. In my role as a high school social worker, I provide counseling, crisis intervention, and ongoing support to students and families. This work gives me a deep, real-world understanding of the challenges individuals and families face day to day, especially when it comes to emotional regulation, behavior, communication, and navigating systems like school and home life.

My approach to therapy

My approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, which means I use proven, research-backed methods to help you better understand your experiences, identify patterns, and build practical tools for change. At the same time, I believe therapy should feel personal and aligned with your values. For clients who are open to it, I also integrate spiritual insight and a faith-informed perspective into our work. I believe healing is most effective when we are caring for the whole person — mind, relationships, and spirit.

Beyond my clinical work, I bring lived experience into the room. With over 30 years of marriage and as a father of five sons, I understand the complexity, responsibility, and rewards that come with family life. That perspective allows me to show up with empathy, authenticity, and a grounded, practical lens. My goal is not just to help you process what’s happening, but to support you in building resilience, strengthening relationships, finding direction, and creating lasting, meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

Areas of focus include male issues, stress management, trauma-focused care (support for processing and healing from difficult or overwhelming experiences), family and adolescent support, spirituality and faith integration, and major life transitions.

If you're ready to move toward greater clarity, stability, and purpose, I’d be honored to support you in that process.
