Great to meet you!

Clients often tell me they appreciate having a space where they can be fully themselves without fear of judgment. My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. I believe meaningful change happens when people feel understood, supported, and empowered to take small but intentional steps forward.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Clinical Sexologist, I help individuals and couples navigate anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, intimacy concerns, communication difficulties, and emotional stress. I work with many clients from Hispanic and multicultural backgrounds and provide therapy in both English and Spanish.

My goal is not only to help you manage symptoms, but also to help you build healthier relationships—with yourself, your partner, and the life you want to create.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and goal-oriented. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel safe, understood, and supported while also being challenged to grow. Together, we will explore the patterns, experiences, and beliefs that may be keeping you stuck and develop practical strategies to help you move forward.

I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Gottman Method Couples Therapy, mindfulness practices, attachment-based interventions, and sex therapy principles. I tailor treatment to each client's unique needs, recognizing that healing and growth look different for everyone.

Whether you are navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, intimacy concerns, or emotional stress, my goal is to help you gain insight, strengthen resilience, improve connection, and create meaningful, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my priority is getting to know you, understanding what brings you to therapy, and exploring the challenges you would like help with. We will discuss your current concerns, relevant personal history, relationships, strengths, and what you hope to gain from therapy.

Just as importantly, the first session is an opportunity for both of us to determine whether we are a good fit. Finding the right therapist is an important part of the therapeutic process, and I encourage clients to use this time to ask questions, learn about my approach, and decide whether they feel comfortable working with me.

I strive to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you can speak openly and feel heard. By the end of the session, you can expect to have a clearer understanding of how I work, whether my expertise aligns with your needs, and what the next steps might look like if we decide to move forward together.
