Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, I specialize in working with adolescents and adults of all ages navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, interpersonal relationships, identity-related concerns (including gender, sexuality, race, and class), and the everyday stressors and transitions that life can bring. I believe therapy should meet you where you are. At the core of my work is a person-centered, culturally-sensitive, and trauma-affirming philosophy that values your story, your identity, and your strengths.

My approach to therapy

My style is patient, open minded, and collaborative as I aim to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported. To support your personal needs and goals, I draw from a range of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy, strength-based, psychodynamic, trauma-focused, mindfulness-based, and feminist frameworks. Whether you're seeking meaningful change, processing your past, or simply hoping to better understand yourself, my goal is to support you in finding your own path forward.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we will take time to get to know each other, talk about what brings you to therapy, what you're hoping to work on, and address any questions or concerns you have about the process. I also review confidentiality and logistics so you know what to expect. There's no pressure to have everything figured out. We will move at a pace that feels right for you. My hope is that when you leave our first session, you feel heard, grounded, and know that you don't have to go through this journey alone.
