Great to meet you!

Great to meet you! I'm Antonio, a dual certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I work with individuals across the lifespan who are navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, stress, relationship challenges, and other mental health concerns. I also have many years of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

I especially enjoy working with individuals who are new to seeking mental health services and looking for assistance with feelings of anxiety and depression. If you're nervous about starting therapy or medication management, or if you've been putting it off because you weren't sure where to begin, I want you to know you're in a safe place. I feel I offer a positive initial encounter that will encourage you to continue seeking help in order to reach your goals. That said, I will work with any client that needs assistance, and together, we can determine the best treatment plan for you.

My approach to therapy

As a mental health provider, my goal is to offer easy and affordable access to mental health services, especially for individuals who are hesitant to seek help. I provide a non-judgmental atmosphere that allows you to speak openly about your current concerns so that we may cooperatively determine the best path forward for treatment.

Taking a comprehensive approach is important to me, and I feel this approach is of most benefit for my clients. I'm not going to give you a cookie-cutter treatment plan. Instead, we'll work together to find what fits your life, your goals, and your comfort level. Whether that includes medication management, lifestyle changes, or a combination of approaches, I'll meet you where you are and build a plan that makes sense for you.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we'll talk about what brought you in and what you're hoping will change. I'll ask questions about your symptoms, your mental health history, your physical health, and any medications or treatments you've tried in the past.

You can expect a warm, non-judgmental conversation where you feel comfortable being honest about what's going on. My goal is for you to leave our first session feeling heard, supported, and clear about the next steps. I encourage anyone interested in mental health services to reach out and inquire to find out if I can provide the services that will meet your needs.
