Great to meet you!

I’m a psychotherapist with a warm, direct, and sometimes sassy approach. While the work we do together is clinically grounded and intentional, I don’t believe therapy has to feel overly clinical, stiff, or intimidating. I bring a relatable, down-to-earth style to the therapy room while using evidence-based approaches like CBT and solution-focused therapy to help you process, grow, and create meaningful change. I work collaboratively with adults and couples ages 18–65 navigating anxiety, depression, borderline personality, PTSD, substance use, life transitions, and everything that can come with being human.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, empowering, and centered around you. You are in control of your journey and my role is to walk alongside you, help you explore your choices, and gently challenge the narratives or perspectives that may be keeping you stuck. I primarily use CBT and DBT techniques to build practical coping skills, increase self-awareness, and create meaningful changes in the way you think, feel, and respond. My goal is for you to leave therapy feeling more confident in yourself and your ability to navigate life.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is really about getting to know each other and understanding what brought you to therapy, what you’d like to change, and what you hope to get out of our work together. We’ll talk about your goals, what has or hasn’t worked for you in the past, and begin creating a direction for therapy that actually feels meaningful to you. You’ll also get a feel for my personality and approach, because finding a therapist you can connect with matters! There’s no pressure to have everything figured out on day one, we’re simply starting the conversation and figuring out where we want this journey to take us.
