Great to meet you!

As a clinician, I strive to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and respected. I have experience working with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds, including those navigating immigration and cultural adjustment, major life transitions, family and relationship challenges, and mental health concerns.

As a military spouse and mother of two, I also understand firsthand the unique challenges that can come with military life, including relocations, uncertainty, changes in family responsibilities, and adapting to new environments. Having worked across state lines and in a variety of behavioral health settings, I bring a flexible and culturally responsive perspective to my work. My approach is collaborative, and I meet clients where they are while helping them develop practical tools and greater confidence to move forward

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in biopsychosocial, systemic psychotherapy. I focus on helping clients better understand themselves while developing practical tools to navigate life's challenges. I also consider how biological, psychological, relational, cultural, family, community, and environmental factors shape our well-being.

I draw from evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, and behavioral activation.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, I will created a warm, collaborative, and a safe space for clients to feel more comfortable in sharing their stories. We will also discuss expectations and goals for therapy.
