Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed clinical psychologist who works with kids, teens, and adults navigating ADHD, anxiety, life transitions, stress, autism, executive functioning challenges, late or complex diagnosis, and the kinds of stuck thoughts and big feelings that get in the way of daily life. My approach is developmental, neuroscience-informed, and neurodiversity-affirming, which is a fancy way of saying I'm more interested in how your brain actually works than in what's "wrong" with it.

Through Headway, I provide insurance-billed therapy. I also offer comprehensive evaluations (ADHD, autism, and the Exam Readiness Profile for high-stakes testing), parent and professional consultations, clinical supervision, and trainings through my practice at dropsych.com, plus self-paced courses, workbooks, and family resources at stickybrainstudio.org.

My approach to therapy

I draw from cognitive-behavioral therapy, exposure-based work for anxiety, parent-management training, executive functioning skill-building, and developmentally informed approaches for neurodivergent kids, teens, and adults. I also work with adults navigating chronic pain, health-related stress, and the cognitive demands of high-stakes situations like preparing for board exams or returning to work after a health setback.

The frame I use across all of this is what I call the Sticky Brain approach: helping clients and families understand why thoughts, emotions, or routines get stuck and how to build skills that help them get unstuck. I'm direct, warm, and practical. Most clients leave with at least one concrete thing to try before our next session, along with the why behind it. Many of the workbooks, parent guides, and courses I've built around the Sticky Brain frame are available at stickybrainstudio.org for clients who want to keep building between sessions.

What you can expect from me

A first session that feels like a real conversation, not an interrogation. I'll ask about what brought you in, what's been tried, and what you're hoping for. By the end of session one, you'll have a clear sense of whether we're a fit and what working together would actually look like.

My therapy work tends to be focused and time-limited. Most clients work with me for a defined course of sessions to build specific skills or move through a particular challenge, with clear graduation in mind. After our work, many clients continue with the courses, workbooks, and parent guides at stickybrainstudio.org. If you're looking for long-term, open-ended therapy, I'll tell you that early and help you find the right fit. For evaluations, supervision, or professional consultations, those are booked through dropsych.com, not Headway.
