Great to meet you!

Hello, I am Anycia! I work with those who are high-achieving and high-functioning who feel overwhelmed, burned out, or constantly “on," that is, pouring into every area of your world. You might be dealing with:

• Anxiety or racing thoughts

• Chronic stress and tension in your body

• Trouble sleeping or relaxing

• Feeling emotionally drained or numb

• Irritability or difficulty being present

You may be used to holding everything in and keeping it all together, but it's getting harder to keep going like this. My work focuses on helping you slow down, regulate stress in the body, and feel calmer, clearer, and more connected to yourself.

With over 17 years of mental health experience, I have gained the skills that will help you learn to calm your body, reduce depression and anxiety, understand your stress, and build practical skills to feel steady, set healthy boundaries, and regain a sense of balance and control in your life.

If you notice that everyone relies on you to be the strong one, the problem solver, for everyone else, causing feelings of overwhelm, tension, or disconnection inside, you are not alone. You do not have to carry it all by yourself. Therapy can be a space to slow down, feel supported, and reconnect with yourself at your own pace.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is authentic, ethical, and deeply client-centered. I believe meaningful work happens when clients feel respected, understood, and actively involved in the process. I’m guided by strong clinical ethics and professional boundaries, while also prioritizing genuine connection and trust.

I often use analogies and real life examples to support insight and processing, especially when clients are navigating complex emotional or cognitive patterns. I enjoy helping clients gently challenge familiar frames of thinking and explore new perspectives that feel both practical and sustainable.

Therapy with me is collaborative and intentional. I meet clients where they are, adapt my approach to what resonates with them, and ensure our work remains aligned with their goals, values, and stage of life while always upholding my clinical licensure and standards of care.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, clients can expect a grounded, thoughtful, and structured experience. I take time to understand not only what brings you to therapy, but how you think, lead, cope, and navigate complexity in your life and work.

My approach is informed by not only my clinical practice but also leveraging my Gallup Strengths: Relator, Strategic, Futuristic, Ideation, and Arranger which support a strengths-based assessment style. This allows me to quickly identify patterns, clarify priorities, and help clients make sense of where they feel stuck while keeping the bigger picture in view.

The first session is collaborative and paced intentionally. We’ll begin identifying goals, exploring relevant history, and determining which evidence-based models (such as trauma-informed, somatic, skills-based, or processing-oriented approaches) are most appropriate for your needs. Clients often leave with increased clarity, language for what they’re experiencing, and an initial sense of directionwithout feeling rushed or overanalyzed.
