Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Anye Whyte, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I work with adolescents and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress, and life changes. I offer a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard and start making sense of what you’re going through. Together, we’ll build practical tools to help you manage emotions and feel more in control. I also strive to create an inclusive and affirming space, especially for individuals from communities of color.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and focused on what feels most helpful to you. I aim to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself and talking openly without judgment. I work with adolescents and young adults to better understand their thoughts and emotions, while building practical tools to manage anxiety, stress, and life transitions.

I often use evidence-based approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and skills from dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to support emotional regulation and coping. At the same time, I recognize that everyone’s experiences are different, so I tailor our work to your needs and goals. I also prioritize culturally responsive care and strive to create an environment that feels inclusive and affirming.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a supportive and welcoming space where you can begin to share what’s been going on for you. I encourage clients to come in with an open mind, ready to explore their thoughts and experiences at their own pace. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, what you’d like to get out of therapy, and start identifying goals that feel meaningful to you.

My approach is collaborative, so we’ll begin to problem-solve together while also making sure you feel heard, understood, and supported. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out—this is a space for you to show up as you are and begin building a path forward.
