Great to meet you!

People heal when they are provided with a safe, validating, and empowering environment. I strive to provide this type of environment to my clients in my therapeutic practice. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Washington and a certified yoga instructor (200-YTT). I specialize in Mindfulness-Based Therapy (MBT) and trauma-informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to increase mind-body connection and identify and change thought patterns that are no longer serving you.

My approach to therapy

In working with me we will take a solution-focused and strength-based approach to explore dysfunctional thought patterns and work toward progress. You deserve to be that version of yourself you feel the most at home in. My mission is to help my clients see a fresh perspective, explore challenges, and work through struggles to heal emotional pain.

What you can expect from me

I strive to create a teamwork environment that facilitates motivation, openness, and honesty. I typically end each session with a discussion about goals to work on between now and the next session. Even though life gets in the way sometimes, my job as a therapist is to keep the sessions moving in the direction of the client-set goals and provide that gentle push when needed.
