Hi! I'm a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) in Florida with three years of experience helping individuals, families, and children identify their strengths and achieve their goals. I am originally from Texas and received my Master's in Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling from Prairie View A&M. I enjoyed working as an elementary school counselor for 8 years in Hillsborough County where I passionately supported children in their academic, social, and emotional well-being. My areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, self-esteem, behavioral concerns, relationships, life transitions, as well as ADHD and ASD strategies for all ages.

I have a strong focus on building a meaningful therapeutic connection with clients. I believe in creating a safe and confidential space where clients feel heard and understood. My approach centers around the client’s needs and goals and can vary on the type of approach that may include solution-focused, cognitive behavioral therapy, as well as coping strategies for ADHD and/or ASD, anxiety, depression.

In our first session together, we will introduce ourselves and discuss current concerns and/or needs that you or your child are facing. Sessions are centered around building a positive rapport, discussing procedures, and providing a safe place to collaborate and develop coping skills specific to your interests and needs. Your growth and happiness are my top priority.
