
My name is April McGeary, LCSW, LCADC, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of New Jersey & Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor in New Jersey with experience providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health & co-occurring services to individuals, families, and couples. I specialize in working with adolescents, adults, trauma survivors and has extensive experience addressing concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, difficulty adjusting, relationship issues, substance use disorders and severe and persistent mental health disorders. I have over 9 years of experience with Master of Social Work (MSW) from Stockton University. My mission is to create a warm, safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental therapeutic environment. My clinical approach integrates modalities such as CBT, trauma-informed care, mindfulness, psychodynamic therapy, grounding, SP-CBT, and many more, tailored to meet each client’s unique needs and their goals.
