Great to meet you!

I am a nationally certified counselor (NCC), licensed professional counselor (LPC), and registered play therapist (RPT) with years of experience. My background includes working as a school counselor and former classroom teacher, giving me a unique perspective on children's academic and emotional needs. I’ve lived and worked in Africa, gaining valuable experience in diverse cultural settings. Specializing in child-centered play therapy, I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where children can express themselves through play. I also focus on trauma-informed care, anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, and social challenges. Each therapy session is tailored to the child’s unique needs, fostering resilience, self-esteem, and coping skills. Through this approach, I help children heal from past experiences, build confidence, and grow into emotionally healthy individuals. Every child’s story is unique, and I’m dedicated to providing the support they need to thrive.

My approach to therapy

Every individual holds immense worth and value, regardless of their circumstances or past. I firmly believe that change is always possible, and that growth and healing are within reach for everyone. No matter how difficult life may seem, there is always hope. We all have the power to determine our path, and with support, self-reflection, and effort, we can create positive change in our lives. I approach every person with the belief that they are capable of transformation and deserve a chance to rewrite their story.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to be acquainted with the therapy process and the play therapy room. The first session will be one of getting to know each other.
