Great to meet you!

I grew up in a small town in northeast Texas, and at the age of 21 and join the Navy, and got married. I’m in an interracial, cross-cultural marriage with three kids. I got into this field because I love to hear people’s stories and I wanted to help. I have experience my own pain which has increased my compassion. I have learned that connection is the key to healing. I’m down to earth open minded, and non-judgmental.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I am person centered and non judgmental. I use actively listening and reflecting skills to make my clients feel heard and understood.

What you can expect from our first session

Clients can expect to be heard seen and validated for their lived experiences. We will work together to set goals and a treatment plan that will help them navigate their current life challenges. And as a therapist, my job is to not give advice, but to help teach my clients skills and tools to manage their mental health and symptoms in a way that works best for them. If I go to the gym and work out, will you lose the weight? No you have to do the work to get results.
