Great to meet you!

I work with kids, teens, parents, and adults who are feeling overwhelmed by school challenges, family stress, anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, grief, and life transitions. Some of the families I support are dealing with bullying, peer issues, school avoidance, off-task behavior, low confidence, or the stress of trying to get a child the right accommodations and support. I also work with adults who are trying to manage stress, work-life balance, career changes, anger, grief, relationships, or patterns they are ready to change. With over 18 years in education and 9 years in school counseling, I bring a strong understanding of how school, family, and emotional stress can all affect one another.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate, client-centered, and focused on helping each person build resilience and practical coping skills. I work with clients to improve emotional regulation, confidence, stress management, replacement behaviors, communication, and healthier ways of responding to challenges. Whether I am supporting a student with ADHD or ASD, helping a parent advocate for their child, or working with an adult through a life transition, my goal is to help therapy feel practical, supportive, and connected to real daily life.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, we will talk about what has been feeling hardest lately, what changes or challenges are showing up, and what kind of support would feel most helpful. Whether the concern is school behavior, parenting stress, anxiety, grief, relationships, or a major life transition, you will have space to share what is going on. Together, we can begin building a plan that feels clear, thoughtful, and tailored to your needs.
