Great to meet you!

Sometimes, even when you are doing your best to keep up with everyday life, anxiety, stress, or depression can make everything feel heavier than it needs to be. You may find yourself overthinking, feeling emotionally drained, struggling to make time for yourself, or carrying experiences that continue to affect how you feel today. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress management challenges, and life adversities. These experiences can influence one another in ways that make it difficult to feel balanced, especially when you are navigating competing responsibilities, relationship challenges, or expectations placed on you by others. With five years of experience, I aim to provide a supportive space where you can feel heard, understood, and comfortable exploring what has been weighing on you. Together, we can make sense of your experiences, recognize patterns that may be contributing to distress, and build a path toward feeling more grounded, confident, and connected to yourself.

My approach to therapy

Our work will make room for both the person you are today and the experiences, responsibilities, and patterns that have shaped how you feel and cope. We’ll explore how anxiety, depression, stress management, and life adversities that may be affecting your emotional well-being and your ability to feel present and fulfilled in everyday life. I may use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help you recognize thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to distress while developing healthier ways to respond, Solution Focused Brief Therapy to help you identify your strengths and turn your goals into practical, manageable steps, and to address the thoughts and habits that may be interfering with your daily functioning. These approaches can work together to help you better understand your emotional experiences, develop tools for navigating difficult moments, and create routines that support a healthy life balance. Our sessions will be collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your individual needs, allowing us to focus on meaningful changes that feel realistic for your life.

What you can expect from me

You do not need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. During our first few sessions, we will take time to understand what brought you here, what has been most difficult lately, and what you hope will feel different. Together, we will identify goals that matter to you and determine where it feels most helpful to begin. You can expect a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can talk openly about your experiences and work through challenges at a pace that feels comfortable. Progress may look like feeling less overwhelmed by anxiety, finding more energy and motivation when depression feels heavy, developing healthier ways to manage stress, processing difficult experiences, or building habits that support better sleep and emotional balance. We will continue checking in on your goals and adjusting our work as your needs evolve. My hope is that therapy helps you feel more confident in your ability to navigate life's challenges while making more room for yourself and the life you want to live.
