Great to meet you!

I am so excited to work with you and for us to co-investigate what the locked doors are in your life, that once unlocked, are the path to your next level. If you are feeling stuck, confused, or angry, we can work together to increase insight, coping skills, and effective boundaries. I believe in using evidence based treatment, over 14 sessions, to effectively target goals. I utilize a diary card that I ask clients to send to me a few times per week so I can track their symptoms and progress.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I believe in balancing strategy with intuition and looking at a client holistically. I am active in sessions and believe clients want to balance validation with effective confrontation as they are all seeking truth.

What you can expect from our first session

I always try to give my clients skills to use as soon as possible so they can begin to feel some relief of their anxiety and depressive symptoms. After a few sessions, the goal is for the client to increase their trust in themselves and to feel confident using coping skills and understanding what having effective boundaries with the self and others means. Eventually I hope my clients implement practical tools and feel an overall increase in well-being.
